I won another trophy for the Ghia today. They go in the basement next to my "Horse's Ass" trophy that I won after coming in last after a dismal horseshoe season.
Watched Jimi at the Isle of Wight last night. Jimi was found dead less than a year later. His death is not in the same catagory as that of Morrison or Joplin; regardless of what you've heard or read.
I built a structure to hold my hanging tomatoes. Two plants growing downwards, one on each side. Best way to grow them. I also painted our crow that guards over our porch. A blue hammerite undertone and a satin black over it. The iron bird looks authentic. After the wettest June on record, I feel that I have lost a whole month of summer.
I still spend about eight hours a week using job search engines. Tough going. How is it that the GOP touts "small government" and "tax cuts" and from the beginning of Ol George's first term, I have seen more government than ever and a record budget deficit with tax cuts that only benefit those that have and never those that have not. Add to that the Iraq war, and I can't understand why someone doesn't either push impeachment, grow some balls, and take this idiot behind the wood shed. The very fact that no one inside the political machine is aggressively fighting back reveals just how screwed we are. I miss the old days of protests and campus sit ins. Truth is......The truth is.....THIS administration would make Kent State, Berkley or the Democratic convention of Chicago, look like kids play. We would be shot, abused, held as terrorists without being charged.....and it would all be somehow justified. And nobody anywhere would do a thing. Shouldn't we be afraid?

What did Jimi really die of then? I heard it was LSD thru the eyes that he overdosed on....am I wrong?

Jimi was in England working through a busy schedule. The hours were long and Jimi was scheduled to fly back to the states to mix some tracks at the Electric Ladyland studio. He took some sleeping pills to help him sleep and reduce the amount of jet lag he would experience once back in NY. He vomited, and choked in his sleep. Not a drug overdose in the typical fashion...
